The Puma Social

Exercise and drinking. Under normal circumstances, I'd raise my eyebrow at a sentence that threw these two things at each other. This is giving drinking games a whole new meaning.

Overview

Exercise and drinking. Under normal circumstances, I'd raise my eyebrow at a sentence that threw these two things at each other. However, as we are all getting geared up for Rugby World Cup madness, Puma has threaded the two together into what will, for the next six weeks, be known as The Puma Social Club. A fitting nod to the sport enthusiasts rugby fever will surely bring out in all of us.

Taking over Shed 1 and 2 at 101 Halsey Street in the Viaduct Harbour Marine Village, The Puma Social will be a top spot when the sun goes down. Huge screens showcasing sports events, a bar and even an on sight BurgerFuel might have you thinking this is just another sports bar. But come prepared to kit up, the Puma Social is all about getting amongst the action. The floor is decked out with all your favorite vintage social sports games - think Ping Pong, Foosball, Darts, Pool, Playstations and a RedBull skate ramp. Basically any game you can play with a drink in your hand. To top it off, the venue will house Puma's first retail concept store in New Zealand with exclusive gear to fix up in for your late night gaming.

When was the last time you walked into a room that had a table tennis table in it and someone didn't pick up the bat? Puma is onto something good here. Get your kicks sorted and head along to Puma Social. All evening events are free to the public. Note, it is only open to the public from Thursday through to Saturday night with a 2am late night license.
