Overview

Auckland’s leading design event, Urbis Designday returns once again to provide the best opportunity to check out everything innovative, creative and must-see from the finest minds New Zealand has to offer.

From temporary architectural pavilions, interactive exhibits, video presentations, fashion, food, graphics and more, Urbis is the hot spot for New Zealand's top creative talent.  They'll team up with leading design showrooms to develop partnerships of epic proportions as Kiwi boffins and whiz-kids produce a series of eclectic and groundbreaking design installations.

With this years theme being 'Colour in Motion', your favourite designers will work to interpret it within their showpieces.  You can also vote for your most loved designer to help choose the winner of the ‘People’s Choice Award’.

If you've ever checked out a cool stuff blog (like this one, hey!) and thought "man, that's awesome", Urbis is the place for you.

But, if you haven't been, there are a few things you need to know - read below!

Tickets are available online at eventfinder.co.nz. It’s just $30 for a single pass or $50 for a double pass.

You will be sent an Urbis Designday booklet and wristband to your postal address between 10 and 24 March, 2012 and this will count as your ticket.

The wristband will allow you access to the installations, free transport and hospitality and the booklet will be your guide to the participating showrooms and their collaborators. Please note, the receipt you receive from eventfinder.co.nz is NOT your ticket.
