Vans Valentine's Day Pop-Up

Do you and your partner consider yourselves sneaker heads? Then this pop-up may be the perfect way to kickoff your Valentine's Day week. On Saturday, February 10, Vans will be turning its bricks and mortar retail space into an arts and crafts love nest, where couples can create a custom pair of Valentine's Day-themed sneakers for themselves or their special someone.

Vans has collaborated with Shelley De Bruyn, an artist specialising in bright, character-driven paintings and illustrations, to create a flash sheet of Valentine's Day designs for Vans fans to add to their shoes.

The designs reflect De Bruyn's vibrant style, with pops of deep reds, neon pinks, cute critters and the iconic Vans checks. De Bruyn's own customised Vans will be sitting pretty in store, for other sneaker fans to draw inspiration from.

Head down to the Queen Street store from 11–3pm on Saturday to choose your own unique De Bruyn design, which the artist herself will be there to place on your kicks. You don't have to purchase fresh sneakers to take part, with fans encouraged to bring their favourite pair along. Although, nothing says 'I love you' better than a pair of new custom shoes.
