Overview

World Vegan Day, Friday, 1 November, comes a week early at Auckland's The Tasting Shed.

At the restaurant's special Vegans of India event, the plant lovers out there can treat themselves to a spicy feast at a four-course dinner, bringing together different flavours from the far corners of the sub-continent.

The dining experience, which has earned a reputation for combing fresh ingredients and excellent wines for a taste experience, is also known for hosting special and quirky events throughout the year.

With a philosophy around creating entree-sized plates where you can share with friends or family, this is an event that's best shared — whether on a date night or as a group evening out.

Indian food is all about the spices, and the Tasting Shed promises to serve up some aromatic dishes, including some you may recognise as well as unique morsels.
