Overview

What So Not are finally getting the ball rolling in the touring aspect of their project. The Sydney duo, consisting of Chris 'Emoh' Emerson and Harley Streten, also known as Flume are  on the verge of releasing their new EP called 'The Quack', a follow-up to their first effort, '7 Dollar Bill'.

Emoh is undertaking tour duties for What So Not across major Australian cities and regional areas, as well as New Zealand, while Streten continues his commitments as Flume. The first single from the EP is also called 'Quack' and features New York rapper Action Bronson, beatmaker Blood Diamonds and Queens' latest prodigy, D Mac. The EP is set to be released on Sweat It Out in Australia and OWSLA - dubstep monster, Skrillex's, label.

In a novel method of distribution, the instrumental version of the track was released a few weeks ago, followed by the dub version, which both released prior to the official release. The EP is due to be released on June 14.

The duo have received praise for electronic heavyweights Switch, Bag Raiders, Sinden and Boys Noize, which has been justified with 'insane, heaving' sold-out club shows across the country, as well as a catalogue of remixes for artists including Major Lazer, Kimbra and A-Trak (listen here).

The two are set to ultimately unite as a What So Not live show.
