Australian electronic act What So Not took a huge hit earlier in the year, with one half of the duo and founding member Flume announcing his departure via a Facebook post. The innovative producer revealed that the pair were moving in different directions creatively, and hadn’t made any music together in quite a while.

The separation hasn’t stopped remaining member Emoh Instead (Chris Emerson), rather fuelling his passion to slay dance floors around the world. This year alone, Emoh has spent three months seeing out a headline tour of the US and playing festivals including: Coachella, Ultra, SXSW. After returning to his homeland for a near-sell out tour this month, and the looming New Zealand date, he’ll rack up more flyer miles with another string of festival dates.

The relentless touring schedule is all in support of What So Not’s second EP Gemini. The EP is the final chapter in the group's time as a duo. It's led by the title track ‘Gemini', featuring Aussie vocalist George Maple. Further collaborations are expected with Skrillex, Dillon Francis, Dawn Golden, St. Lucia, ASAP Ferg.
