Overview
Sydney six-piece Winston Surfshirt have been described as the auditory equivalent of A Tribe Called Quest splitting spliffs with your parent's favourite band. The band which creates a unique blend of of funk, soul and hip hop will return to New Zealand this October for two live performances. The Auckland and Wellington shows will support the band's debut album, Sponge Cake, a 16-track melange of summer sounds which has received nods from Zane Lowe and Sir Elton John who labelled them his' favourite band of the moment'.
