Overview

For Larry the great white shark and Lorenzo the zebra it was love at first sight. They met when Auckland Zoo took a field trip to Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium and after many happy years together it's finally possible for them to tie the knot.

It's the night the gay marriage bill passes in New Zealand. There's whooping, there's hollering, there's neighing and then there are complications. Lorenzo’s son from a previous relationship with a female giraffe comes to live with the couple. The little ziraffe hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with his sharp-toothed step-father, despite Larry’s best efforts.

To add to the couple's woes, Larry has lost his job at Kelly Tarlton's. With a wedding to plan and a new mouth to feed how will our cold-blooded, warm-hearted hero be able to bring home the bacon? Written by Chelsea McEwan Millar and Elizabeth McMenamin and directed by Barnaby Fredric this is one very absurd comedy about a rather unconventional family.
