Overview
It's Friday — you've survived another five days of the daily grind. You could go home and spend the evening with the company of your gaming console. Or, instead, you could head to The Hawthorn Hotel and welcome the weekend with like-minded gaming fiends.
Each Friday night, Beta Bar celebrates the very best of geek culture with its game-themed events. All manner of weird and wonderful passions are celebrated here from Pokemon to The Legend of Zelda. The glue that holds the atmosphere together is the communal board games and video games and cheap drinks — $5 house spirits and beer until 9pm.
