El Camino Cantina
The Rocks’ neon-lit Tex-Mex cantina, pairing frozen ‘ritas with loaded nachos and sizzling fajitas.
Overview
Set in the heart of The Rocks, El Camino Cantina is a lively Tex-Mex spot bringing big flavours, frozen margaritas and plenty of energy to one of Sydney's most iconic precincts. Just a short walk from Circular Quay and the CBD, it's an easy stop for everything from after-work drinks and casual dinners to group celebrations.
Inside, expect neon-lit bars, colourful dining booths and a soundtrack that swings from rock classics to 80s hits, 90s RnB and 2000s pop. The menu leans into generous Tex-Mex favourites like loaded nachos, saucy tacos and sizzling fajitas made for sharing across the table. Alongside them come El Camino's Legendary Ritas, giant margaritas best ordered frozen.

There's plenty happening through the week. El Cam Hour runs 4–6pm Monday to Friday, with selected house wines, tap beers, cider and 'Ritas for after-work catch-ups. The $16 La Cantina Lunch runs 12–4pm on weekdays, with birria quesadillas, salsa, guacamole and refried beans. Tuesdays bring tacos, 'Ritas and temporary tattoos, and Wednesdays mean a kilo of wings and a spin of the prize wheel.
For groups, the Tex-Mex Fiesta pairs a three-course feast with a 90-minute beverage package, which suits birthdays, group dinners and celebrations.
