Italian Bar - CLOSED
Pizzas inspired by Sardinian and Tuscan traditions, accompanied by a 100-percent Italian drinks menu.
Overview
Many inner-city Sydney restaurants claim to serve up traditional Italian fare, yet few carry it off in quite the same style as the Franchi brothers' Italian Bar. Sourcing much of its ingredients from traditional Italian providers as well as local ones, its menu has some seriously impressive dishes.
Antipasti such as carpaccio bresaola and bruschetta on sourdough are great starters before moving onto a traditional woodfired pizza from Italian Bar's 13-flavour selection. To help you digest all of this, there is also an ample selection of traditional Italian wines, cocktails and beers — including spritzes, bellinis and negronis.
