Woof-Fest 2017

Retail stores, remedial massage stalls, a beauty salon and doughnuts — and yes, they're all for dogs.

Overview

You might want to keep Sunday, June 25 free because a huge dog festival is coming to Western Sydney Parklands. Woof-Fest 2017 (real name, no gimmicks) is a free event, running from 9am will 1pm, and will feature more than 50 stalls packed full of treats for your doggo. And you can bet the farm that dogs from far and wide will be in attendance, primed and ready for scratches.

On the day, stalls will include fancy fashion outlets (for dogs), remedial massage (for dogs), a beauty salon (for dogs), a photography studio (for dogs), and cooking demonstrations by the chef from Chew Chew Pet Restaurant (an organic restaurant that is, you guessed it, also for dogs).

And don't forget to pick up a packet of 'domuts' for your pupper or doggo companion. What fresh hell are 'domuts' you ask? Like…dog doughnuts with chicken liver, carob, or peanut butter in them. And to think we, as a species, used to hunt big game on the prairie alongside our dogs. What have we become? Don't think about it. Dog festival, yeah!
