Overview

Although the majority of Brisbane is back up and running after the January floods, those who live in and around the Lockyer Valley, a region that got hit pretty badly, are still in need of a little help. In order to throw some much needed financial support their way The Fox Hotel and Bundaberg Rum are joining forces to throw a good old fashioned street party.

The WATERMARK Flood Relief Street Party is bringing out all the stops with some amazing music acts. Australian DJ Muscles will be making the trek back to Brisbane to perform at the party, while local heroes The Cairos will add some indie cred to the event. Filling up the impressive bill will be Vasy Mollo, Avaberee, Moonfleet, Misere and Too Shoes. In between all this musical goodness you can enjoy some yummy barbecued products, served to you by Brisvegas celebrities, as well as a Grand Auction that will raise money for Baked Relief.

So what's it going to cost you to enjoy all this frivolous fun? Depends on how big your heart is. The lovely people at the door will be accepting gold coin donations as an entry fee, but we here at Concrete Playground are encouraging you to dig a little deeper. Considering the calibre of acts performing, and the fact that donations will be going towards flood affected families, giving as many gold coins as possible is an easy way to help those less fortunate.
