OVERVIEW

Are you an ambitious project coordinator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills? Concrete Playground is looking for a skilled junior professional to join its Sydney team as Client Services Coordinator.

The Client Services Coordinator will work across multiple campaigns concurrently, both in a supporting capacity as well as leading client communications while producing work of the highest standard on-time and on-budget in collaboration with our talented content team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the day to day project workflow across all allocated client media campaigns

  • Supporting and tracking the production of multiple campaigns, ensuring that both Concrete Playground and the client see valuable ROI from the project
  • Supporting and leading on both internal and external communications
  • Supporting to bring key stakeholders together to ensure allocated projects are delivering as required
  • Providing proficient client management and organisational support to the Business Team and their allocated client patch
  • Working with the Branded Content team to produce sponsored content campaigns consistent with Concrete Playground's style and tone, including written editorial, photography and video content, events and experiential activations
  • Using programs like Asana, WordPress and Slack to keep the Business and Partnerships teams consistently up-to-date on the status of their campaigns
  • Supporting the senior project managers with client reporting and ongoing documentation

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in communications, marketing / advertising or similar.
  • 1-2 years experience in project management with a publisher, media owner, media agency, creative agency or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; an ability to manage stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Experience with CMS (WordPress preferable), Project Management tools (Excel, Basecamp, etc) and social platforms (Facebook Business Manager).
  • A great attitude – upbeat, adaptable, ready to learn and the consummate team player.

This is an exciting new role for Concrete Playground. An ambitious Social Media Manager will have the opportunity to build out Concrete Playground's social channels and elevate the way we approach social content (both channel-native and distributed from our website) to make it best in class. The right candidate will bring strategic thinking and platform expertise, as well as terrific social-first content chops.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A talented social media professional with vision, implementation prowess and a passion for our editorial patch who will drive traffic, engagement and community across our pages. The right candidate for this role will drive Concrete Playground's social presence by evolving our strategy, producing great content, analysing usage data, and managing projects and campaigns in collaboration with our Editorial and Client Services teams.

You are an organised multitasker, confident working across multiple channels and social platforms. A creative and adaptable thinker, you know how to connect with an audience through a range of social formats and executions, and are full of ideas of how we can do it.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the day to day project workflow across all allocated client media campaigns

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns in social, ensure brand consistency and performance thereof
  • Conceptualise and create social media content in new formats for both our Organic Editorial and Branded Content offerings in collaboration with the rest of the editorial team
  • Assist in reporting and measurement of the success of campaign activity in social
  • Input into pitches and brief responses from a social perspective
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
  • Supervise aspects of social media interaction between our audience and the CP brand to grow engagement and community on our channels
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies, educating the team internally when appropriate

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-5 years experience in social media management or social content role (or similar) in an agency, for a publisher or in-house for a brand
  • Proven experience using social media to deliver positive brand results
  • Excellent knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter)
  • Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite and Buffer (or similar)
  • Excellent copywriting skills and handle on tone of voice
  • Experienced in the creation of assets across social media platforms with sound knowledge of best practice requirements
  • Experience in paid amplification across the social platforms noted above, and good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Excellent time-management and multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker who is a natural problem-solver
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you are capable and confident in dealing with a range of internal stakeholders
  • A great attitude – enthusiastic, proactive and collaborative

We're looking for an ambitious person who can work collaboratively to create and implement advertising sales campaigns and partnerships with some of Australia's and the world's top brands, institutions and events.

We are committed to finding meaningful and relevant ways for brands and institutions to connect with our highly engaged audience. Concrete Playground partners with brands like American Express, Heineken, Google, Samsung and Tanqueray to create memorable content and experiences for its readers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing direct and agency clients across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Driving sales, digital innovations and revenue opportunities through the business in order to meet revenue targets.
  • Providing sales and client management support to the Commercial Director.
  • Working with the Branded Content team to deliver content and experiences for our brand partners.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience working in digital with a particular focus on display, content and/or social solutions, with 3-5 years in a sales role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Natural ability to work collaboratively and lead teams of people.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Superb client and personal management skills.
  • Sound ability to create, develop and present proposals and reports.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and, ideally, InDesign and Photoshop.
