Song
A solo performance of interweaving text, movement, song and sound Song-The Story Of A Girl, A Bird & A Teapot is the must-see event of the season.
Overview
Inspired by the life experiences of writer/performer Waiata Telfer, an indigenous, mixed race woman with an
intense cultural connection to her family despite feeling deeply disconnected, Song-The Story Of A Girl, A Bird & A Teapot sees its central character travel on with her trusteed teapot, itself a symbol of lost traditions and rituals, always pushed forward by the calls of an unseen, but ever-present, bird.
Directed by Sue Rider Song will ignite your senses and passions as it entertains, enthrals and baffles you.
