The Belvedere - CLOSED

Known locally as the Bel, this spot has served Woody Point in some form since the 19th century. Sitting on prime waterside real estate, the Bel's refurbishment makes the most of its enviable location, and there's no better place for taking in the sea views.

The Pavilion Bar is light and airy, with beachy decor of white tiles and bright timber. The old, dark wood interiors of the Jetty Bar, along with a pleasure pier-style games room, lends he Bel an old-school seaside feel.

Beverage-wise, the Bel has more than 18 craft brews on tap, plus imported beers and all your classic cocktails. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner, they serve Modern Australian meals in the bar, deck and Waterside Cafe along with some well-considered wine-pairing recommendations. Fresh seafood is a real highlight, so consider splurging on a group platter, or tuck into some rich barbecue or wood-fired pizzas.
