Local heroes Kaibosh have one mission: to turn our city into one with zero food poverty and zero food waste. To do this, they take surplus food from all good establishments and give it to those who want it, but can't afford it. As a result, Kaibosh has supplied over 2.5 million meals to those in need. On Saturday 19 May, they are feeding even more locals with the Food for a Cause event. Food for a Cause will be a hosted three-course lunch in Kaibosh's new Hopper Street home. The food will be prepped by Le Cordon Bleu's Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business students, who will turn "junk food" into a tasty and fun affair. Even better, all profits made on the day will go to Kaibosh to support their work in our community. If you want to help out Kaibosh, you can also donate time by volunteering, donate funds, or donate food. So grab a seat and make your Saturday lunch one with all taste and no waste.
