Get your fill of hawker-style cuisine over five massive nights this autumn as the Hawker 88 Night Market returns for its 2025 edition. Taking over the Queen Victoria Market every Wednesday from April 9 to May 7, the vibrant market showcases a hugely diverse lineup of cuisines from across Asia, ensuring there's no shortage of opportunities to feast on flavours from Indonesia, Japan, India and beyond. To keep vibes high, each week will feature a stellar program of themed cultural encounters, from dance performances and live music to costume parties and eating contests. So, you've got more than enough reasons to return for each night of this five-week-long extravaganza. Launching this year's market on April 9 is Pan-Asian Night, where a K-pop dance crew, lion dancers and an Asian fusion band will keep the atmosphere pumping. The next week, Bali to Bangkok Night will see Southeast Asian cuisine paired with expert martial artists, traditional dancers and a live Thai band. April 23 is Rising Sun Night, where Japanese and Korean stalls dish out extraordinary food as taiko drummers, roving geishas and a Korean costume parade take things up a notch. Then it's time for Bollywood Night on April 30, as live dance-offs, henna mural-making and curry-eating competitions complement the vibrant cuisine. Before it's time to say goodbye to the event for another year, the closing event on May 7 is Yin and Yang Night. Get down for an incredible feast alongside Chinese and K-pop dancing, a Squid Game-inspired DJ set and a traditional Chinese costume parade.
