Overview

Local brews? Check. Tasty bar snacks and eats? Check. Pour Choices is a new bar in West End, and while it's a little bit removed from the main strip on Montague Road (it's not really — a five-minute stroll puts you on Boundary Street), it's heaven for residents who have been looking for a new local.

Pour Choices riff on their anything but poor choice to have brews on tap from Aether Brewing, Holgate and Pirate Life. The long bar has plenty of seating and some outdoor spots so you can take your pick of ambience.

The menu sports a range of snacks like spicy nouc cham squid ($14), cured salmon belly tacos ($4 ea) and popcorn chicken with yuzu mayo ($12). If you have a hunger bigger than the bar snacks menu can satiate, then, by all means, order something a little more substantial off the menu — duck with pumpkin curd, honey carrots and sour cherry ($34) or a negi (that is, onion)-rubbed wagyu rump ($36) would easily satisfy.
