The Italian Riviera is making its way back to Sydney Harbour, as Club Amalfi returns to Watsons Bay Hotel for another summer of long Mediterranean lunches, spritzes, DJs and waterfront revelry. Kicking off Sunday, October 18, the hotel's Top Deck will come alive one Sunday a month with four-hour sessions centred on European holiday energy. The return comes after Watsons Bay Hotel's Top and Middle Decks underwent a $3 million makeover in 2025, with new decking, banquette seating, bifold windows and a dedicated dry bar giving the waterfront venue a fresh lease on life. Now, the upper level is once again ready to play host to these lively Sunday sessions until April. For $89 per person, Club Amalfi includes a multi-course Mediterranean feast served to share, followed by an afternoon of DJs, dancing and beach-club-style celebrations. This season, there's a new addition to the festivities, too: St-Germain will serve a complimentary Hugo Spritz to guests on arrival. As for the food menu, the feast starts with burrata and heirloom tomatoes, antipasto and Spencer Gulf kingfish crudo, while mains include roasted market fish with olive, caper and herb salsa or grilled dry-aged sirloin, served with cos wedge salad and rosemary fried chat potatoes. Grab your pals and linger in the sun — preferably with a spritz in hand. Like what you see? Subscribe to the Concrete Playground newsletter to get stories just like these straight to your inbox.
