After a furry appearance at Abbotsford Convent during Melbourne Design Week this March, Wānaka-founded Wilson & Dorset is back in Melbourne. This time, the sheepskin label is popping up on Gertrude Street from Wednesday, July 22–Sunday, August 30. Styled by Melbourne-based creative Kelly Thompson, Wilson & Dorset's first retail space in Victoria is designed to be touched. The Fitzroy pop-up is filled with conversation-starting pieces heroing warm and breathable New Zealand sheepskin, from cushions and rugs to slippers and jackets. Founders Ben Wilson and Amanda Dorset are passionate about offering a natural alternative to synthetic furnishings. Expect programmes that embody the duo's 'primal living' philosophy, such as immersive sheepskin sound baths to talks by design pros. The Wilson & Dorset pop-up opens from 10am–5pm on weekdays and 10am–4pm on weekends. Images supplied.
