Making waves throughout last summer following appearances at Beyond the Valley and Let Them Eat Cake, Berlin duo DJ Heartstring are headed back to Melbourne. This time taking over The Wool Store in Footscray, this sprawling space will serve as the ideal venue to experience one of electronic music's most exciting new-generation acts. Happening on Friday, September 25, DJ Heartstring's appearance marks the first Wool Store event of the year. And for those looking to get a little loose, it lands on the AFL Grand Final public holiday, so you most likely won't even have to worry about spending the day behind the desk. Returning to Australia after a series of standout shows, the duo behind DJ Heartstring — Leo Brede and Jonas Hellberg — have helped usher in a new wave of euro trance acts, renowned for their emotionally charged, high-energy approach to club music, blending euphoric influences and pop sensibilities with underground appreciation. Since emerging in 2021, the pair have built a devoted international following, thanks to huge festival appearances, viral moments like at Boiler Room Melbourne 2024, and collaborative tunes with Ireland's KETTAMA and Australia's own DMA'S and KLP. Presale tickets go on sale at 12pm on Tuesday, June 16, with general sale happening from 12pm on Wednesday, June 17. Head to the website for more information. Like what you see?
