Put your cynical, Internet-trolling comments away folks, the headline is not click bait. The time has come. Swedish fashion giant H&M is hitting our shores, and we'll be welcoming them in with open arms and wallets. The company implied their interest in the New Zealand market earlier this year, and I don't know about you but I feel like I've been holding my breath since. And to the relief of my lungs, today it has been released that we will in fact be shopping within the realms of our second favourite neon letters (once H&M starts offering midnight Big Macs, we might reassess the ranks) in 2016. With a massive 3500 stores over the globe, it was about time H&M came down under. They haven't secured a location yet, but surely they'll join their high street competition, Topshop, on Queen. Whilst we have to wait another few months, let's look on the bright side: your family will get gifts at Christmas this year, so make 'em goodies because next year, thanks to the new store opening, your fam might be missing out.
