Like retro furniture? Prefer your sounds in 7" and 12" form? Want to scope out classic wares and browse racks of records at the same time? Get yourself to Phase 4. Whether you're after one-of-a-kind keepsakes or rare albums, all your tastes catered for at this new Brisbane shop.

The unusual and esoteric is this vintage and vinyl store's bag — and you're certain to see plenty of eclectic things on their shelves that you'll want to put on yours. A handpicked selection of pre-loved and brand new music is their main attraction — of both the cool and the 'I can't believe that actually exists' kind — however, they also deal in pop culture collectables and old and modern bric-a-brac.

In fact, when it comes to trinkets and tunes from times gone by, think of Phase 4 as a one-stop nostalgia shop. And think of owners Donat Tahiraj and Julie Morrison as the ultimate crate-digging curators, finding all the good stuff for you.

Tahiraj and Morrison's good taste shows in their chosen Phase 4 location too, with the store the latest addition to Bakery Lane — aka the former non-descript laneway that has swiftly become Fortitude Valley's latest hotspot. Indeed, making everything old new again seems to be the predominant theme of the precinct. No wonder Phase 4 has made it their home.

Find Phase 4 at 680B Ann Street, Fortitude Valley, or visit their Facebook page for more information.
