Perhaps you're feeling so much love this Valentine's Day that you're eager to share some of it with a new four-legged friend. Either way, the Animal Welfare League Queensland has you covered at its Be My Valentine festivities. To celebrate the date — and to help you spread some affection around — it's adopting out cats for $29 and dogs for $99.
All animals are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and registered. In other words, if you're keen to welcome a new companion, almost everything is taken care of.
Just head on down to AWLQ's animal rehoming centres — at 523 Telegraph Road in Bracken Ridge and 501 Gooderham Road in Willawong — before Sunday, February 16.
