UPDATE, October 28, 2021: Pig 'n' Whistle Brunswick Street has cancelled the Bubbles & Barrels Festival, so it will no longer go ahead on Saturday, November 13.

Festival season is upon us, and that means a day of brews, seltzers and barbecue at the Pig 'n' Whistle Brunswick Street. On Saturday, November 13, the Fortitude Valley pub is playing host to its third Bubbles & Barrels Festival — and in news that'll brighten what's already bound to be a sunny day, entry is free.

Held in the venue's beer garden from 1–6pm, the event will bring together a heap of breweries and even more beverages, with the likes of Young Henrys, Brick Lane, Stone & Wood, Ballistic, Little Creatures, Slipstream and more on hand to serve up their finest yeasty brews. There'll also be seltzers available, should you need something to break up the beer. And food-wise, you can opt for a brisket burgers, beef croquettes and pork schnitzels.

While entry won't cost you anything, you do still need to register for a ticket, which'll also put you in the running to win a big beer prize on the day.

You can also purchase five ($45) or ten ($85) drinks tokens in advance, which you can use to nab brews at the fest.
