Overview

Party Like Gatsby has been cancelled

Glitz and glamour, cabaret and circus, and feeling as dapper as a flapper — that's all on the agenda at Cabaret Noir. A huge 1920s-style shindig organised by the folks behind the Party Like Gatsby event series, this one wild night is all about pretending you've journeyed back almost an entire century (or, if you prefer, pretending you've stepped into a certain Baz Luhrmann-directed, Leonardo DiCaprio-starring movie).

Lavish, extravagant and indulgent are the keywords here, because that's the kind of get-together that Jay Gatsby would throw. This one is set during 1922, when prohibition was in full swing. Once you step through The Tivoli's doors, prepare for plenty of over-the-top hijinks.

Taking place on Saturday, July 11, 2020, Cabaret Noir will also feature live music, DJs and more than 20 performers, with the whole thing taking place from 9pm–2am. There's a strict 1920s dress code, so you really will feel like you've stepped back in time.
