The fifth annual Festival of Tibet celebrates the varied aspects of Tibetan culture, addresses the issues threatening Tibet’s future and shares the peaceful virtues of its people.
Overview
Brisbane is hosting its fifth annual Festival of Tibet, which is a yearly cultural highlight thanks in part to the thriving and dynamic culture it exhibits.
Spread over five days, the festival program includes painting workshops, forums and art exhibitions exploring the Tibetan way of life, as well as showcasing fantastic documentaries and talks from venerable members of the Tibetan community.
This is a jam-packed cultural experience, one that is highly recommended. If you are a fan of foreign culture, a keen activist or just looking for an excuse to get out of the house, check out the Festival of Tibet at the Brisbane Powerhouse.
