It has been five years since one of Brisbane's busiest foodie laneways decided to start celebrating its awesomeness — and, once again, Fish Lane Festival is back. Come midday on Saturday, September 5, the stretch of road will enter party mode for ten hours of eating, drinking, dancing and just generally hanging out.

Indeed, prepare to make both a day and a night of it. There'll certainly be plenty of spaces tempting you to stay for as long as possible. On the agenda: multiple stages of local live music and DJs, plus multiple pop-up bars serving up boozy tipples.

Food-wise, all the local eateries always get in on the action — such as The Fox, Grassfed and Gelato Messina, plus Chu the Phat,  Birds Nest and Julius Pizzeria as well. While the 2020 menu hasn't been released as yet, last year's delicious delights included karaage hot dogs, steamed duck buns, vegan nuggets, salted caramel brownies and gelato s'mores.

The music lineup is yet to be announced, too, but even with all of the above, entry is free.
