Flavours of Skuzz

Overview

Apparently if you’re a ‘nogoodnik, drop out, glue sniffer or gentlemen sailor’, your presence is not only requested, but required at Woodland for the Flavours of Skuzz festival this weekend. That said, I’m sure if you don’t fit the above description you’ll still be embraced by all attending; these people appear like the open minded type.

Flavours of Skuzz seems more than willing to welcome any and every type of garage rock in existence. The eleven-hour festival has a lineup of 25 of garage’s best from Bristown and beyond – we’re talking Slug Guts, Velociraptor, Blank Realm, The Vee Bees, Straight Arrows, HOSS and more. Nogoodnik or not, the Skuzz lineup has all the distortion you’ve been needing to warm up your cold soul in these winter months.

As a party like this doesn’t come around very often, I would suggest putting on your most comfortable shoes, purchasing a ticket, and earning the right to say you attended. Maybe leave the gluestick behind though. It’s not such a good look in 2011.
