When World Science Festival Brisbane arrives each year, it fills the city with talks and events focused on supremely interesting science and technology topics — more than 130 such events in 2022, in fact. But the fest has never held a sustainability market before, so it's rectifying that on Sunday, March 13.

From 8am, at South Bank — around the Cultural Centre at the Flowstate green space — Brisbane's sustainable and eco-conscious organisations will come together to showcase their wares. So, you'll be doing the planet a solid, and also helping out local small businesses, too. Showing the love close to home is one way to be sustainable, after all, so this market really is living the idea.

At the Get Green! Sustainability Market, there'll also be workshops, so you can learn to weave between browsing and buying. Or, in-between chatting to the folks behind these local environmentally focused shops, you can find out more about doing your best when it comes to recycling and cutting down waste.
