Gold Coast Festival of Golf

Overview
One of the biggest celebrations of golf is being teed up right here in Australia. A little bit of sporting history (which you can be part of) will happen when the inaugural Festival of Golf takes over the Gold Coast's Sanctuary Cove starting on Thursday, March 6 for four memorable days of sport, entertainment and guaranteed good times.
The festival celebrates everything there is to love about golf including a dedicated golf exhibition showcasing the latest in golf tech, gear and lifestyle. Non-golfers need not be daunted either with the festival's lineup chock-a-block with non-golfing activities too, including a dedicated eat and drink zone with pop-up bars serving craft beverages, local food trucks and live music that everyone — even non-golfers — will delight in. Meanwhile, a dedicated participation zone offers family-friendly fun with interactive games and thrilling golf challenges to get young golfers in on the celebration of the game, while newbies (if you've ever even entertained the idea of putt putt, this is for you) and pros alike can test their skills in a series of putting challenges over all three days of the festival. And to sweeten the deal, entry to the festival is free.
Whether you're practically a fixture at tour events or have never stepped onto a green, you'll want to secure your tickets to the prestigious Australian WPGA Championship. The tournament one of the festival's highlights with many of Australia's best female golfers playing and tickets are a steal at only $15 a pop for adults, while kids under the age of 17 get in free.
The revelries level up with the Festival of Golf Beach Party on Friday, March 7. A ticketed event and held at the Lagoon Beach Pool at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, the hottest ticket in town lets you hob nob with players, sponsors, and special guests — all while enjoying gourmet canapés, two hours of free-flowing drinks and live entertainment.
Finally, the festival coincides with International Women's Day on Saturday, March 8, and the festival is celebrating female trailblazers with an exclusive and intimate luncheon to mark the day at Sanctuary Cove's The Grange. The event is a memorable way to mark the occasion and celebrate women's sports — and cap off an exciting festival on the Gold Coast.
