Add another date into your doggo's diary — the NewBARKet Markets are upon us. On Sunday, July 18, Newmarket Village is going to the dogs, but in a good way, with the adorable event taking over the inner north shopping centre.

Take your pupper along from 10am–2pm, with everything from a pooch photo booth and plenty of pats on offer. You can get your canine's portrait painted as you wait, spoil them with a puppy massage and hit up the bone bar — where free bones will be given out to all good woofers (while stocks last).

The main attraction: stalls selling all kinds of goodies for your four-legged friend. Expect dog treats, accessories, threads and grooming, as well as dog ice cream and pupcakes.

For attendees of the two-legged variety (no, your clever canine standing on their two back legs doesn't count), there'll also be food for humans. And if you're sadly lacking in the pooch department, don't worry — everyone else will have you covered, so you'll be in for a top day of dog-watching.
