Ooh La La x Hubert Pop-Up — POSTPONED

UPDATE, March 21, 2023: The Ooh La La x Hubert pop-up has been postponed from Thursday, March 30, and will now take place sometime in April. We'll update this article when a new date is confirmed.

Huge news, Brisbane fine-dining fans: on Thursday, March 30, for one night only, Sydney's French favourite Restaurant Hubert is coming to the River City. Unsurprisingly, the 'French on French' menu featuring four snacks and four courses that C'est Bon is serving has proven popular. Accordingly, if you don't already have tickets, you've missed out. But, on the same night, you can also head on up to Ooh La La for a second Hubert experience.

C'est Bon's rooftop spot is also teaming up with one of Sydney's top hatted eateries, which has been a Harbour City go-to since 2016 and takes its cues from post-war Paris. Under the stars, from 7–9pm, Brisbanites can get a taste of Hubert via a signature cocktail and four snacks.

This is the more affordable option of the two, too, costing $40 per person for that drink and those four bites. You'll be sipping one of Hubert's signature tipples, and tucking into two Hubert snacks (chaud-froid egg, including yolk, smoked cream and dill, plus chickpea panisse with Queensland crab and espelette) and two C'est Bon snacks (boudin with rosella and a malt tart, plus Queensland yabbie, carrot gastric, café de Paris butter and sabayon).

Afterwards, Ooh La La's usual cocktail, wine and beer range will also be on offer on a pay-as-you-go basis, plus a lineup of cheese and charcuterie platters.
