Overview

Picnic season is upon us, the time of year when sitting outside with a basket full of cheese is the only place to be. Throwing a few beverages into the mix always is always recommended, but Brisbane is sadly lacking when it comes to legal spots to drink outdoors. You won't have that problem at Pinknic, however.

A spin-off from the popular Rosé Revolution, which has already sold out its main 2017 event, Pinknic is the relaxed rosé lunch ready to brighten up one particular summer Sunday. Come 11.30am on December 3, pink drink lovers will descend upon The Osbourne Hotel to sip their favourite tipple and eat a hamper full of goodies.

Tickets cost $35, which includes a rosé on arrival, plus smoked salmon, duck paté, a baguette, cold cuts, grilled vegetables, cheese, and a macaroon to munch on. More than 12 other fruity, not-quite-red vinos will be available to purchase if you're keen on more pink fun as well.
