Overview

If drinking pink is your favourite way to sip — and being surrounded by flowers is your favourite way to spend an afternoon, too — then a riverside date filled with rosé and florals should definitely be in your future. That's all on the agenda at Customs House, which is celebrating the warmer weather and blooming blossoms by turning its terrace into a pop-up rosé garden.

It's the Queen Street venue's latest seasonal makeover, and it comes complete with openair floral domes for you and your mates to hang out in — while peering at the river and knocking back a range of Moët & Chandon wines. Or, if you'd prefer cocktails for your waterside hangs, the Garden Spritz features rosé, vodka, raspberry, mint and lemon.

Open Fridays–Sundays weekly until Sunday, December 19 — from 4–9pm on Fridays and 1–9pm on Saturdays and Sundays — the pop-up is also serving up a selection of bites to line your stomach. Start with the crispy pumpkin flowers, as filled with goat's cheese and sundried tomato, then move onto the Hervey Bay scallops with vanilla cauliflower and chorizo crumb. Or, there's the always-popular Moreton Bay bug croissant, which you can also pair with truffle fries.
