Overview
Make no mistake: Sandra Bernhard is an icon. Not just in stand-up, where she has offered her outspoken views to anyone who’ll listen for almost four decades, but in films such as Martin Scorsese’s The King of Comedy, and for playing the first openly gay character on a network series on television’s Roseanne. To say she’s pretty great is an understatement.
For the last 12 months, Bernhard has been touring the United States with her one-of-a-kind live show, Sandyland, an all-out celebration of just what makes her so fabulous. Now, she’s bringing it to Brisbane for one hysterical night of rock 'n' roll, cabaret, stand-up, burlesque and just telling it like it is.
