When he launched his first Brisbane restaurant in 2023 and paid tribute to the Amalfi Coast in the process, Guy Grossi started giving Italian food lovers in the Sunshine State capital plenty of treats. He isn't done yet, not only because Settimo is still going strong, but thanks to its first-birthday celebrations — complete with free cannoli.

Crispy tubes filled with sweet ricotta, without paying a cent? That's what's on offer in the Queen Street Mall for one morning only. You'll need to make a beeline to the inner-city spot's main stage on Tuesday, February 20 from 7–10am. Yes, cannoli is the breakfast of champions.

The full birthday festivities also include an anniversary dinner, a pasta-making masterclass with Grossi and the debut of a new aperitivo hour — but free cannoli trumps almost everything.
