Overview

No two Necks concerts are ever the same. The Necks are a trio of musicians, a wholly improvisational act, born from personal penchants for the humble jam session. Between their some 25 years, 17 albums and worldwide stages, they have won over masses of critics and now call the likes of Brian Eno and Nick Cave their fans.

Their one restriction to their sound is the limits of their own instruments, which are given their own voices and guide the music where it wants to go. Nothing is said between the band members - Chris Abrahams (piano), Lloyd Swanton (bass) and Tony Buck (percussions) - before any show; they are committed to creating a truly unique and unrehearsed sound, a personalised experience for their audience.

This is a band you can see many times over, and their biggest fans do. Come along to experience The Necks, the band that the New York Times describes as “one of the greatest bands in the world”.
