'The Office' Trivia

Stop putting staplers in jelly and start answering trivia questions.

Overview

Have you spent the last decade popping your colleagues' staplers in jelly, or covering their desks in gift wrap? When someone makes a comment — any comment — do you answer "that's what she said"? Do you have a soft spot for paper company employees, or for anyone who gets married at Niagara Falls? As soon as you meet people who work in HR, do you expect them to be called Toby?

If so, then The Office — the US version — has changed your life, and now it's time to put your secret skills to the test. Michael Scott won't call everyone into Ivory Tusk's conference room on Wednesday, February 19; however the Fortitude Valley bar will host a trivia night from 6pm, so it's almost the same thing.

Because Brisbane loves trivia evenings based on sitcoms that Mike Schur had a hand in (think Parks & Recreation and Brooklyn Nine-Nine) more than it loves pulling pranks, it's certain to be a popular evening. The quiz session will run until 9pm, and someone had better break out Jim and Pam's wedding dance — and bring something beetroot-flavoured, ideally from Schrute Farms.

Playing is free, but you'll need to reserve your spot by calling or emailing the restaurant. Also, there'll be $10 tacos on offer as well.
