To those in the fashionable know, it’s commonly identified that The Outpost and Blonde Venus are intrinsically linked via their shared owners. To those in the artistic know, it’s a duh fact that The Outpost and Nine Lives Gallery are run and curated by the same guy. To those in the cultural know, it’s obvious that Nine Lives is always ahead of the game and scoring quality artists. So connecting those dots, the fact that Blonde Venus are about to play host to an exhibit means that it will be amazing - fashion, art and talent together as they should be.

Laura Brown is an emerging artist based in our fine town, with her aptitude lying in fine line drawings on her preferred medium of paper. From afar you can tell her work is intricately complicated and up close it is no different, with the images pulling the viewer into the world of Ms Brown. Her first solo exhibit Viscous will be on display at Blonde Venus cost free for the next month so head into the Valley soon. And really, now you have a foolproof alibi to visit (and do your summer shopping in) that fabled store.
