After ten years at the top of the local beer game, Stomping Ground is ready to celebrate by hosting the inaugural Stompo Street Fest. Spilling out from the Gipps Street brewery into neighbouring Islington Street, the team is setting up shop with a huge music lineup featuring JNETT, Owelu Dreamhouse, Steady Weather, Supa Kameleon, DJ MzRizk, Quality Used Cars and more. Meanwhile, this jam-packed session, running from 12–10pm on Saturday, November 14, takes things up a notch with drag bingo, circus acts, live art, free flash tattoos and a Kids Zone inside the beer hall. Plus, you're invited to swap beer sipping for the oyster station and cocktails from the Melbourne Gin Company for a moment. Stomping Ground has also just revealed plans for a brand-new brewery and beer hall in Geelong, scheduled to open in 2027. Details are still under wraps, but it marks the latest stage in a wider rollout of new venues across Melbourne and regional Victoria. With tickets to Stompo Street Fest available for $39 (and free entry for under-12s), this beer-led street festival is your best chance to add to the 12 million litres Stomping Ground has brewed over the past decade while collecting an assortment of awards. "Ten years on, the thing we're proudest of isn't the trophies, it's the people," says Stomping Ground Co-Founder Guy Greenstone.
