This year was the 88th edition of the Academy Awards. So much hype, so much glamour — so much Leo. Lucky for our old friend, he was finally awarded the Oscar he deserved for The Revenant, so we can all die a little happier now. Mad Max: Fury Road was a big winner; with six wins it is now the most successful Australian film ever at the Academy Awards. Spotlight took out best original screenplay and the holy grail of best picture, and our hearts were filled with gooey stuff seeing Inside Out win best animated film.
