If Queensland's eased restrictions have you feeling festive, we don't blame you. Heading out for a drink and a feed with mates is a big part of why we live in the city. While we don't doubt you've already hit the town a few times since Brisbane's hospo scene started back up again, Australian Venue Co is giving you even more reason to go out for a catch up. To celebrate life slowly getting back to normal, the hospitality group is taking 50 percent off your bistro bill every day — for a whole month.
No joke. All ten of its Brisbane bars, pubs and restaurants will be slinging all food, cocktails, spirits, beer, wine and even champagne for cheap. The catch? You'll have to order food with your beverages if you want a discounted drink — and get down there between 5.30–6.30pm. Yep, it's a short window, but a wallet-friendly one.
Brisbanites back in their CBD offices (or not) will be glad to know bars such as The Wickham, waterfront bar Riverland, USA-inspired spot Buffalo Bar and the Waterloo Hotel are all participating. You can also drop into Paddington's Darling & Co for a half-price feed and tipple, Kingsleys for a cheap early dinner and longstanding pub the Regatta Hotel for some light-on-the-wallet schooeys and snacks.

To get the deal, you just have to download the AVC app here, hit up any of its Brisbane bars between 5.30–6.30pm and claim the 50 percent discount off your bill.
Don't live in the capital? No worries. In fact, there are a total of 69 participating venues across Queensland alone, from the Gold Coast all the way up to Cairns.
