Overview

It's no secret nightlife has suffered amid the global pandemic and, here, in Australia, we've sure felt it. We've seen the cancellation and postponement of festivals and gigs nationwide and, according to Aussie website I Lost My Gig, our music industry alone has reported about $340 million in lost income. If we want to see Australian nightlife — and its subsequent culture — return, we have to support it now.

With arts and music industries everywhere doing it tough, party-loving spirits brand Jägermeister has launched its new Save the Night initiative. The aim is to get behind the artists, creatives and all-round legends that make nightlife what it is through various collaborations. Head online and you can get world-class bartenders, musicians and artists to join your next at-home party — whether it's just you or with your closest crew, thanks to Meister Drop-Ins. Or, you can stream a bunch of DJ sets and even learn some cocktail mixing tricks with Save the Night's Meister Class series. Also, earlier this year, it was the brand behind Iso-Late: the late-night edition of Aussie Instagram festival Isol-Aid.

If you also want to get involved and support the cause, Jägermeister is releasing a brand-new limited-edition bottle, which will see more than $80,000 donated to Australia's nightlife communities to support artists, creatives, bartenders and club-owners. Globally, the project promises to raise €1 million (about AUD$1,646,187). To make it happen, Jägermeister has teamed up with Berlin-based South Korean DJ, producer and designer Peggy Gou to be the project's ambassador. The 700-millilitre bottle itself has a new-look Save the Night label designed by German illustrator and graphic designer Max Loeffler. To get your hands on a limited-edition bottle (from $46.15), head to Dan Murphy's or BWS.

Support Australia's nightlife — and the legends behind it — by picking up a limited-edition 'Save the Night' bottle of Jägermeister from Dan Murphy's or BWS. To check out Jägermeister's Save the Night initiative, head here
