Overview
If a magnum of champagne on arrival, delicious multi-course dinner, and a luxury hotel suite with your name on it sounds like your kind of weekend, this one's for you.
To celebrate the return of its annual Wine Expo, The Reserve Cellar has partnered with G.H Mumm and Brisbane's award-winning Emporium Hotel to launch a nationwide giveaway valued at over $2700.
The lucky winner will score a two-night stay for two at the Emporium Hotel South Bank, complete with complimentary daily breakfast, valet parking or private airport transfers. On top of all that, G.H. Mumm will cover return flights from anywhere in Australia.
Once checked in, the good times start rolling. You'll find a Maison Mumm Grand Cordon Rosé NV Magnum waiting for you in your suite. Then later that night, you'll head to the hotel's incredible Italian restaurant Firma for an exclusive dining experience, as well as bottomless champagne served throughout your entire stay.
And to top it all off? You'll also take home a golden wine stopper and some Mumm merch to remember it all. The competition is running until Monday, July 22 and to enter, all you have to do is follow @thereservecellar on Instagram, like the competition post and tag the person you'd want to share the experience with.
It's free to enter, but if you want to boost your chances, you can buy a ticket to The Reserve Wine Expo on Saturday, July 12 or purchase wine at the event to earn bonus entries.
The Wine Expo itself is worth checking out. Returning for its fourth year, the 2025 event will take place inside the beautiful Frangipani Ballroom at Emporium Hotel South Bank.
From 2pm to 5pm, attendees will get access to more than 60 curated wineries from around the world, 150 bottles open in the room, with unlimited tastings, door prizes and a premium Plumm glass (valued at $55) to take home. If you time your visit right, the final hour of the Expo is when all the premium bottles are uncorked.

This year's list of standout wines includes some serious drops, like a $300 bottle of Caves d'Esclans Garrus 2022, which is widely known as the world's most expensive rosé, Penfolds 389, a cult classic often called 'Baby Grange', and a 99-point 2024 Hunter Valley shiraz that's one of the highest-rated wines at the Expo.
There's also some exciting new additions to this year's Expo, including the People's Choice Wine Award, exclusive discounts for on-the-day orders, and even a pop-up wine shop to stock up your at-home collection.
Even if you don't win the big prize, you'll still walk away with some serious wine knowledge and probably a new favourite drop.
