If their Morgan Terrace address sounds familiar, that's probably because you've dropped in to the 24-hour bookshop next door.

Yes, brekkie whenever you feel like it and a comfy reading spot combine at the timber-heavy eatery, with the former as impressive as the latter. Smashed avo and goats cheese features, as does savoury mince — but there's a reason both have become early-morning classics.

If you absolutely must consume something other than breakfast foods, then why not opt for the ultimate hybrid that is the good ol' toasted sandwich. Pulled pork burgers and salads are also available, with the menu still evolving. Drinks-wise, take your pick from Bear Bones coffee, juice and smoothies, and our favourite — a Nutella milkshake.
