Overview

Perched on the edge of the Coomera River since 1885, the Coomera Lodge Hotel is one of the Goldy's oldest pubs. Yet following an impressive $3 million makeover in 2022, this local stalwart returned with a new 150-person bistro, three revamped outdoor spaces and a brand-new kids' play area, all without sacrificing the venue's original charm.

Just a few years later, the Coomera Lodge Hotel is making another landmark addition, revealing its debut accommodation offering. Set to open on Monday, August 10, this reimagined pub will now feature 24 self-contained cabins, ripe for family adventures to the Gold Coast's famed theme parks or whatever sun-drenched activity catches your eye.

Located in Oxenford in the northern Gold Coast — known as a rather quiet, leafy coastal neighbourhood — you won't have to spend all day commuting up and down the highway during your family getaway. Instead, you'll find yourself just 10 minutes' drive from the likes of Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild. What's more, the beach is only 25 minutes away.

Whether you've been riding rollercoasters or waves all day, these cabins will give you a great chance of a good night's sleep, with accom available for between four and six guests. Starting at $200 per night, family cabins feature a host of modern amenities, including a private ensuite, air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi.

There are also accessible cabins for $250 per night, offering a more spacious layout for larger families and friend groups. Featuring step-free access, six guests will comfortably rest up in a queen bed, two single bunks and a queen sofa, plus all the standard amenities available in the family cabin.

When it's time to eat, you're just a few steps away from the Coomera Lodge Hotel and its classic pub cuisine. Think chicken parmi, beef and Guinness pies, a solid selection of burgers and choice options from the grill, plus kids' meals and weekly specials. And if you're too exhausted to leave your cabin for dinner, the full pub menu is available to order in-room.

Coomera Lodge Hotel's new cabins are expected to open on Monday, August 10. Head to the website for more information.
