OFFER —  March 17, 2022: Flight Centre is currently running a special on a short stay trip — the Desert Explorer package. Just ten minutes from the heart of Alice Springs, at the base of the expansive West MacDonnell Ranges, lies 1300 hectares dedicated to the celebration and conservation of the Northern Territory's natural desert. Since 1997, on the land of the Arrernte people, Alice Springs Desert Park has welcomed people to explore three vibrant desert habitats — Desert Rivers, Sandy Country and Woodland — and cultivate a deeper connection to Country.

Mightily different to most ideas of the desert, this place is filled with thriving ecosystems — lizards basking in the sun, herbivorous mammals darting underneath shrubbery and an abundance of wildflowers bursting with colour. Plant-heavy water catchments, the cool breeze under tall bloodwoods and the iconic shade of vivid red await you.
