Overview
Stepping into Cafe Lounge is a little like stepping into a Surry Hills time capsule. The small bar, situated just off Oxford Street, is unassuming and unpretentious. Mood lighting, secondhand lounges and a sunset wall mural set the scene, proving it doesn't take itself too seriously. Instead, the focus is on entertainment — comedy, live music, discos and story-telling among other pop-up events — and lots of thin-crust pizzas.
The pinnacle is The Comedy Lounge on Monday nights. For a cool $10, you can chuckle along to some of the best and brightest on the comedy circuit. What a way to kill those Monday blues.
